Supernatural is my happy place.

When there’s shit going on in my day-to-day life that’s really hard to deal with. When it’s eating at my heart and bruising my soul. When I feel like I’m gonna crack, like they’re gonna break me, I let my mind drift….drift to my happy place….Supernatural. And once I’m there, no-one can touch me, because I have something they don’t….

I have Supernatural.

I have the fandom in all its crazy glory.

I have the wonderful friends I’ve made because of our love of this amazing show.

I have J&J and their friendship, which fills me with sunshine.

I have Misha and his vision and passion and evil genius.

I have Kripke and Sera and Ben and Bob and Phil and their stories that make me laugh and cry.

I have Carry On Wayward Son, which brings me sadness and joy all at the same time.

I have Sam Winchester and his puppy eyes and half naked push-ups.

I have Dean Winchester and his one perfectly formed man tear and his beautiful heart and all round awesomeness.

I have bandy-legs, thigh holsters, the Impala, an amulet, matching tattoos and bro hugs.

I have LACon and memories of cuddles and a jam session that will forever live in my heart and touch my soul.

I have Jared and his smile, his laughter and his overwhelming largeness.

And I have Jensen and his eyes and his freckles and his warmth and gentleness and his graciousness and his voice and his throwing his head back laugh and his… well I have Jensen and his everything.

So when it’s all getting me down…I think of Supernatural and it makes me strong, because Supernatural is my happy place…and their argument is invalid because I have this…and they don’t.
